The Black Hole: The Movie (1979)
The Black Hole was a 1979 science fiction movie directed by Gary Nelson for Walt Disney Productions. At an estimated cost of $20 million (plus $6 million advertising budget) it was the most expensive picture at that time, that was ever produced by Disney. It was generally not well-received by critics, although the special effects of the movie were highly praised.
Although the movie is about 3 decades old it could be worth your time checking it out on DVD. It came out a few years after Star Wars and the visual effects are good for that time period. Click the review link below to get a viewers opinion of the film.
